shoe shopping

I'm not particularly fond of shopping for shoes. My feet are sensitive, I suppose it could be part of my Spinal Muscular Atrophy. They are also floppy, wide, and short. Did I mention that I'm also flat-footed? Did I also mention that they are so thick that it looks like I have ridiculously high arches?

In all, trying to find shoes that fit my feet is less than a joyous experience. Style? For my feet? Well… Maybe in SecondLife.

I will say that the folks at Famous Footwear in Tomball Texas    made the process easier yesterday. They were friendly, understanding, and willing to take a little extra time.

By the way, I now know my shoe sizes. I haven't checked that in a while… That answer doesn't make things any easier. If we go by length, my left foot is size four and my right foot is size three. If we go by width, probably size seven would do.

Yeah, you can call me Quasimodo…

I wonder if this will work

This is a test message.  If it was a real message, I would be saying something wonderfully witty.

My Quest for a mouse continues…

I am sad to say that that Tobii PCEye did not work for me.  Not only do I have 50-year-old eyes, I have a bad astigmatism and am so nearsighted that someone had to tell me that the top letter of a eye chart in the office is a giant letter E.  I think that the Crizal lenses are what did me in, though.  Those lenses are wonderful!  I think that the glare-prevention properties prevented Tobii be able to see what my eyes were doing.
And, YES, I tried working with Tobii without any glasses.  I could not see this screen…
So… My Quest to find a mouse that I can actually use has moved to Pinterest.
At this point, it is moving into the DIY factor.  :-) You know that I approve of that!
