Earworms!
No, I'm not talking about those creatures from Star Trek Wrath of Khan!
I'm talking about those crazy songs that get stuck in your head for no apparent reason. Something reminds you of a song, sort of. Maybe you can even hum a few bars, or almost remember a lyric or two.
And it will not get out of your head!
I've had one stuck in my head for months. I couldn't quite think of the artist or the song. I couldn't quite remember what it was about. I just burned time trying to remember what I couldn't remember.
I found it!

Apparently, I have issues…

How to Take Notes: from a Textbook
How to Take Notes: from a Textbook
Based on a popular post of mine that has been circulating around Tumblr (linked below). This method is one of many, and is well-suited to taking notes in books you are renting, or plan on returning. I do not own the rights to the music used, I just love Oh Honey a lot and think their music is stunning. Please oh please oh please go check them out and buy their amazing EPs here: http://ift.tt/1EUOaLv Post on Tumblr: http://ift.tt/1DagS8I Post on Wordpress: http://ift.tt/1IcJOOU ||Social Media|| Twitter: @staticsandstuff Instagram: @staticsandstationery Tumblr: staticsandstationery.tumblr.com Wordpress: staticsandstationery.wordpress.com

Old School Games
Yes, I am OLD SCHOOL when it comes to games. I didn't need a fancy graphics card or a high-end computer. My first computer games were COLOSSAL CAVE and ZORK. They are text adventures. All the images form behind my eyes and between my ears. You can play them online here http://www.web-adventures.org/
Then I got my Apple II plus… There were quite a few that I enjoyed, particularly EMPIRE I-WORLD BUILDERS. Hey, they had graphics, sort of. The ideas behind the games wanted to be epic, but these things were usually developed by individuals or small groups. You could go to a computer store and buy a Ziploc baggie with your 5.25" disk, a trifold instruction manual, and a grand adventure.
I still like games that do not require massive graphics cards. I like games that require turns and don't expect me to have fantastic reflexes. I found another one but I am starting to play, in my vast amounts of free time. Take a peek at GALAXY KINGS. I take my turn by sending an email. A few days later, I get my results… By email. It is a leisurely way to play a game. The game I joined has been running a wild. I think I turned in my move for turn #212…
