Christ has come! This is the joy of Christmas! But as we gather with family members that have walked away from Him, what do we do? How do we love our family like Jesus did? We rejoice that the light of the world has come in to our darkness and we entrust our loved ones to that Promise. Remember what Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5: rejoice, give thanks and pray without ceasing. All our loved ones are in the Lord's hands. May His peace reign over your celebration as you gather around Word and Sacrament this Christmastime.
