For those who may not be Christian this text has much historical value and we are sure that everyone can relate to what is being sung in some way, as we all have dark times in our lives. When life seems darkest, often the brightest light is right around the corner, if we have the eyes to see it. This seems especially applicable in the times we are living through right now. Have a blessed Holy Week and Easter everyone! About the music: The music is a Renaissance polyphony as set by Tomas Luis de Victoria, normally sang at Tenebrae on Good Friday. Our interpretation was meant to communicate various sentiments that one might have while expressing this text and music. We sought to give this music an interpretation that befits its origins.
