Concordia Alumni Virtual Choir performs Nun ruhen alle Wälder

Concordia Alumni Virtual Choir performs Nun ruhen alle Wälder
Since 1963 the Concordia College Tour Choir has been concluding concerts and worship services with the singing of Bach’s Nun ruhen alle Wälder. This tradition began under the leadership of Dr. Ralph C. Schultz and holds a special place in the hearts of Concordia Choir alumni. At the conclusion of a concert or worship service, the choir hold hands and encircles the audience/congregation. This chorale is sung as a prayer before heading off to stay with host families while on tour. Our hope is that this will bring you comfort and joy, especially in these uncertain and challenging times. Special thanks to Dr. Ralph Schultz, Jill and Dave Greatrix, Amy and George Heath, Matt Zefi and Squillante Productions for their joyful collegiality, commitment, professionalism and #ClipperPride. A dream team! Thank you to those of you who participated as well as those of you who felt your pipes were too rusty but lent your enthusiastic support. This truly was a project of love - love for Concordia, love for your memories in the choir, love for the significance of this particular piece and love for Doc Schultz. Thank you to all of the alumni who submitted videos from their homes.
