Making Medieval Turnshoes

Making Medieval Turnshoes
These shoes are made for Medieval Combat (HMB/IMCF), which I practice. It took me about 1 week for finishing them, as it is really time-consuming, especially the sole stitching. This is the third pair I have already made, so it took me less time as I already knew how to do them. If it's your first time it can take more, there are a lot of trial&error moments. These shoes are made to be comfortable and long-lived, so they are not totally a historical reproduction. For example, I used a double sole to be easier to repair them in the future. Also, the lace is more of a modern approach than an historical way of lacing shoes. You can find a closeup of the Sole Stitching in another video: https://youtu.be/NogC1qkdzkw
